I have watched this video non-stop for the last 3 weeks. I love her enthusiastic singing and the heart melting way she says, "One day I'm gonna whistle." It gets me everytime.

What happened next is one of the reasons why I love the internet: I had never heard this song before so I did some research into the original version. Before I knew it, I fell in love with this performance on Letterman by Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros. I love seeing performers really enjoying what they're doing.

After even more clicking around, I found out that Alex Ebert has a new solo album coming out soon. I found a sneak preview of his track "Truth" which you can download here. I've easily listened to this song more than 50 times in the span of just a few days.

Oh how the internet makes me obsessive! And I love it.

I'm in love. Totally absolutely. I wish I could snap this up, but sadly I don't live in Europe.

I have been thinking about words & type non-stop these last few weeks as I continue to decorate my little home. This one is another one to add to my stash of ideas.

With all the cold weather we've been experiencing, I've taken to curling up on my couch in front of the fireplace with a mug of tea. There may or may not be a handful of junior mints involved.
