I love NYC-based artist Amanda Wachob's tattoo art. The body is her canvas to create flowing images with lush and vibrant colours.

This woman's talent is amazing! And i thought i'd finalized my tattoo design. Now that i see what can be done, im seriously going to have to rethink it through.

I had designed a series of geometric lines that intersected that represented the different layers of my life that all led to the centre, which represented me. But seeing this now tells me to refrain from being so rigid. I can see that i can get the same message with free flowing strokes. This is exciting to think about going back to the drawing board...so unlike the designer ive become!

I love the water colour effect of the single bird on the model's shoulder and the colors of the strokes on the left forearm.

Sounds interesting! Yes, I love the bird as well. It doesn't seem like a tattoo at all..it feels like lookin at a painting on canvas!
