What a lovely short film by Spike Jonze & Olympia Le-Tan. 6 months + 3,000 pieces of hand cut felt!

I was lucky enough to see this documentary when it came for the Vancouver International Film Festival. If you have a chance to see it, please do! It's an interesting look at how Andrew Bird works and an artist's creative process.

Vanessa Hollander and Wilson Philippe embarked on a ten-day motorcycle tour in Mongolia and brought along their Fuji Instax Mini camera. Many Mongolian nomads have never seen a physical photo of themselves and the reaction is so heartwarming. It's hard not to have a lump in your throat watching this short video!

Oh the things we take for granted...

My books are currently on the floor of my apartment in large stacks. I haven't figured out how I want to handle them, other than knowing I don't want a generic BIlly Bookcase from Ikea. If I had a much bigger room, this would be perfect!
